Toowoomba can boast Australia’s longest running rock n roll cabaret group. When the band began playing music they had no idea that years later the band, The Countdowns would be more popular than ever. In global terms, the number of bands that are still together, still friends, still rockin, still enormously popular after all this time can be counted on the fingers of one hand. The Countdowns is one such group. They rock with a capital “R” and love it – and so do the thousands of fans who have followed them across Queensland over the years. Since the 60s they have performed with hundreds of leading international and Australian artists and have worked most popular entertainment venues in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales. The Countdowns are available for bookings for school formals, weddings, corporate functions, birthdays, clubs and pubs. Always in demand, The Countdowns still have a few gaps in their itinerary.
