The Countdowns is one such group. They rock with a capital “R” and love it – and so do the thousands of fans who have followed them across Queensland over the years.

Their 30th birthday reunion concert at Toowoomba’s Rumour’s International attracted 1200 fans who ranged from teenagers to elderly rockers. A 40th anniversary reunion concert is planned for early to mid 2006 and to mark the occasion the band is currently working on a new CD album.

Since the 60s they have performed with hundreds of leading international and Australian artists.

Since then the group has worked almost every venue in southern Queensland and northern New South Wales.
